Wedding at the Temple of the Winds.

Mel & Mark

February wedding at the temple of the winds.

When Mel and Mark came to see me at first to discuss their wedding day and plans for photography, we had to factor in the chance that the weather could be awful at Strangford lough in the middle of February. The Irish weather did not disappoint us.  It was a dank day overhead alright. But as the song go’s, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful. It was a gorgeous day inside the temple of the winds. Mel and Mark’s day warmed the hearts of all who had the pleasure of being there. We had a wonderful day together in the Temple,Mel and Mark were a sheer delight to work for and I’m pleased to show you a few of the shots from the day.

The temple of the winds is a small venue and really only caters for the more intimate of weddings. Mel and Marks guests took the venue to its capacity. It’s a challenge to any photographer in a small space to get back off  his or her subjects and be able to create images that are not cramped looking and also to avoid bumping into and bruising everyone all day long with your equipment.
